3M^® Scotch^TM Aluminum Foil Tape 438

• Tape 438 is the thickest 3M dead-soft aluminum foil tape

• The highly reflective acrylic backing gives excellent radiation for heat and light.

• It exhibits long indoor and outdoor aging characteristics.

• It reduces edge build-up in uses as a mask for stripping and electroplating operations.

• Other uses include general sealing, metal patching, a moisture barrier and heat-reflecting.

• It can qualify to meet Federal Specifications      L-T-80B, MIL-T-23397b Amendment 2, Type II and 

• It is for masking metal cylinders prior to had chrome plating.

• The temperature range is -54C/-65F to 149C/300F.
