aesthetics of the finished product demand a sharp color separation with a
flawless paint line for vehicle masking and other precision applications,
use 218 tape.
The firm yet thin
backing is great for pulling long, straight paint masking lines. Compared to crepe
masking tapes, the thinner caliper of this tape provides a lower paint
ridge when transitioning colors and reduces buildup on the edge and the
film backing provides superior solvent resistance.
It is designed to
leave no reside and appropriate for medium temperature applications - up
to 121ºC / 250ºF for up to 30 minutes
