3M^® Pronto^TM Instant Adhesive CA-40AH and CA-100
Cyanoacrylate Adhesives

• These are one component, high strength cyanoacrylate adhesives.

• Both meet MIL-A-46050C, Type II, Class 3.

• CA-40: 

  • Good adhesion to difficult to bond substrates like aluminum, EPDM, rubber, flexible vinyl 

  • Resistance to soap and isopropyl alcohol

  • The viscosity is higher than CA-100 and a slightly slower setting rate.

• CA-100: 

  • High viscosity (3000 cps) that allows filling gaps up to 0.020 inches (0.5 mm).

  • Good adhesion to difficult to bond substrates like aluminum, EPDM, rubber, flexible vinyl 

  • Resistance to soap and isopropyl alcohol

  • High peel strength

  • Thermal shock resistance
