3M Dual Lock^TM Reclosable Fasteners SJ-3550 SJ-3551 SJ-3552 (Types 250 - 400 - 170)

SJ-3550 and SJ-3551 are black, polypropylene reclosable fasteners with white acrylic adhesive on a clear polyethylene film liner with red 3M logo, 400 stems(SJ-3551) and 250 stems (SJ-3550) per square inch, 0.22 in (5.6 mm) engaged thickness.
SJ-3552 is an Acrylic Based PSA with Type 170, White VHB^TM Tape and Clear Polyethylene Film Liner. High Temperature and Solvent Resistance, High Shear Adhesion, High HSE and Low LSE. 230 mil Engaged Thickness with 170 Stems per Square in.

Hundreds of mushroom-shaped stems interlock with one another when these fasteners are pressed together.
An audible snap indicates the fastener is locked.
This fastener has a tensile holding strength more than 5 times greater than the 3M^TMScotchmate^TMHook and Loop Reclosable Fasteners.
Also, it is stonger than the standard products (SJ-3440, 41 and 42 Series).
Mating Type 400 and Type 170 stems provides the most universal Dual Lock Fastener combination.
When closure involves two flexible surfaces, Type 400 can mate with itself.
Type 170 can mate with Scotchmate loop products.
Type 250 provides a more dense product for rigid surfaces if you need a stronger bond than that of Type 170.
